Description:
  • Be responsible for managing and providing leadership to a technical staff of professionals for conducting application R&D work and technical service support;
  • Investigation of the effects of enzymes in the Fabric and Home Care application, particularly the performance of enzymes on solid surfaces and in cleaning formulations;
  • Develop methodology for the understanding of enzyme-substrate interactions;
  • Develop model systems for the evaluation of the performance of our products on real-world substrates and across scales;
  • Work in an international and multidisciplinary environment to advance project goals and interface with the F&HC business and their Customers worldwide;
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team to visit the customer and provide innovative solution.


Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysical chemistry, bioorganic chemistry or related field required with strong background in enzymology or protein chemistry;
  • 5+ years of practical lab experience in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting;
  • Strong knowledge of protein characterization and development of biochemical assays for enzymatic activity in simple and complex model systems;
  • In-depth understanding of modern enzyme kinetics and mechanism of action studies;
  • Strong modern analytical skills preferentially with experience in the analyses of detergent components is a strong plus;
  • Knowledge of proper experimental design and data analysis;
  • The successful candidate must be motivated, creative, have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and be capable of working independently or in a collaborative setting;
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
