Danisco Argentina, established in 1993, employs ten people in its Sales Office.History
Danisco began its history in Argentina on a land that successively changed from barrenness and hostility to fertility and prosperity… a reflection of the political, economic and social metamorphosis that has embraced Argentina’s consecutive development and evolution over the last decades.
Chronologically, Danisco’s genesis was called Agroexport S.A., an agent that represented Danisco in Buenos Aires for almost three decades. Little by little, the idea and the need for setting up on its own germinated; it was time for Danisco to have its own identity. Danisco rented a lot that belonged to Niro de Argentina, a company that until 1992 was part of Danisco.
It was then that the transformation occurred: the sowing of a thought turned into the harvest of an action. In the mid-1990s the company was located in Humberto Primo street, in the traditional San Telmo neighbourhood where its newborn identity started to grow up in the food industry with a great deal of effort, perseverance and will.
Today Danisco’s strength is widely known among local producers who make use of the company’s products to manufacture theirs.
Soon, the Humberto Primo office became too small; this was only natural: Danisco kept growing at the same time as new challenges for penetrating the market developed; there was a growing need for a larger infrastructure, as far as human and operative resources were concerned.
The next step was to move from the company’s initial location to Congreso, another traditional Buenos Aires neighbourhood. At last, sowing a character harvested a destiny and in February 2003 Danisco Argentina inaugurated its new office in one of the most fashionable and luxurious neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires: Puerto Madero.
It is clear that the destiny of Danisco’s employees is always to be at a “building stage“, there are always new places to conquer, new challenges to met and a gleaming strength to face the future.
