Resumé preparation tips
Keep your resumé to the point but not too short. Aim for no more than two or three pages.
- Keep it relevant and tailor your resumé to the job you are applying for.
- For example, it's not relevant to highlight your skills in graphic design if you are applying for a job as a finance officer.
- Check the spelling and grammar in your resumé.
- Use a font and size that is easy to read like 10 pt. Trebuchet.
- Do not use jargon or abbreviations - simple is best!
- Be honest and factual.
