Business Intelligence Analyst

Providing global solutions and infrastructure, Danisco IT supports Danisco's efforts to conduct global business as one company. Danisco IT operates globally to make sure that all IT initiatives are optimised for this goal. Danisco IT employs approx.170 people, hereunder 110 in Denmark. After having completed a successful roll-out of a new global ERP system based on SAP, Danisco IT is now changing focus towards optimizing the business processes, knowledge sharing, performance optimization and end user delight (4,500 users globally). Danisco IT's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) group consists of 9 people in Copenhagen, Århus and Rochester, NY and delivers business intelligence solutions to the entire organization. Its new strategy will expand the BI footprint to include operational performance systems, corporate and divisional dashboarding to monitor key performance indicators and other decision support systems. The EPM team is growing and is therefore looking for BI professionals to be part of its success.

We are looking for a person to be focused on project rollouts, training and support of Business Intelligence users. The business intelligence analyst will be working with management and users in all Danisco and will team up with project managers and developers from the EPM group. The ideal candidate will have, a minimum 5 years work experience in business environment. Background in Finance, Sales, or Operations, a successful track record of training, experience in technical end-user support, experience with SAP BI ,and general knowledge of DW architecture, BI Info Providers and ABAP. The main tasks of the position are:

  • Gather data and analyze key requirements for new projects or existing issues.
  • Directly interface with users who are primarily located in the Americas and provide support in the areas of problem solving, report customisation, training and data validation.
  • Market and educate users on available reporting tools.
  • Develop standards and best practices for reporting.
  • Participate in project roll-outs and implementations.

  • Confident in the role as supporter/trainer of end-users/customers.
  • A structured, detail oriented person with administrative skills and capable of finishing tasks.
