By using environmental pressure that we create, we make our lead enzymes more efficient and successful in achieving customers’ targets. We also use structural and functional information (knowledge) about a protein to predict what changes would make it more efficient for a given trait.
Because they are renewable, biodegradable resources, the use of proteins encourages the development of ecologically sustainable industrial processes.
