Shanghai, China – May 15, 2009 – Genencor will present its breakthrough biotechnology solutions for the textile processing industry next week at the Cotton Textile Processing: Sustainable Solutions for a Better Future in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Through its portfolio of products called PrimaGreen™, Genencor is helping the textile processing industry become more sustainable. The summit takes place from May 19 to 20 at the Kowloon Shangri-La hotel.

Genencor’s PrimaGreen™ EcoWhite is a unique and first-to-market enzyme, which powers the system that will be sold by Huntsman Textile Effects under the name Gentle Power Bleach™. Nico van Schoot, Global Textiles Product Manager for Genencor, will present on PrimaGreen™ EcoWhite on Tuesday May 19th, 9:30 am to explain how the novel bleaching technology significantly reduces energy and water consumption in wet textile processing, while improving fabric quality.
